By removing vertical play, this “pinchless” design helps avoid any unpleasant pinching or collapsing that can occur in standard Waterfords. The series of smooth oval links discourages horses from bracing or leaning, as there is no rigid surface to latch onto.
The two-ring design offers riders adjustable leverage, providing additional control when needed. This bit is particularly effective for horses that are strong or tend to evade rein aids, allowing for customizable rein placement to suit the horse’s needs.
